Who we are

The licence

A Stem Station subscription grants one person a non-exclusive licence to install and use the app on their Macs while the subscription is active. The 7-day free trial grants the same access, at no charge, for its duration.

Acceptable use

Stem Station automates Pro Tools on your own machine to print stems from sessions you have the right to use. You agree not to resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the application.

Billing

Paid plans renew automatically at the interval you choose until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before you subscribe. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

Availability

We work to keep the app compatible with supported Pro Tools and macOS versions, but we don't warrant uninterrupted operation. Stem Station works on a copy of your session and never modifies your originals.

No warranties

Stem Station is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost bookings, or lost data — arising from your use of Stem Station. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms — for example, by sharing your licence or reverse-engineering the app. If that happens, your subscription ends and the app stops printing. You can stop using Stem Station and cancel at any time. The sections on liability and governing law survive termination.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will announce material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Stem Station after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Stem Station will be resolved in the courts of Tennessee. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer laws give you additional rights or a different venue, nothing in these terms limits them.

Severability

If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
